KHOL

Khol is a double headed drum made up of wood. One head is bigger than the other. It is played with fingers; depending on finger technique 108 rhythms can be produced. Khol playing pattern is very similar to the tabla playing pattern. Traditionally Khol is played in temples, shrines or devotional concerts accompanying devotional songs.
