Like all Zildjian, Zildjian K Zildjian cast bronze cymbals, are exclusively poured and cast from raw molten metal. All casting is cooled and separated by weight for each cymbal model. Then castings are put through a compact sequence of heating, rolling, shaping, hammering, and lathing techniques unique to each cymbal range. These cast bronze cymbals have an intense, full-bodied sound that improves with age. Zildjian K0883 also have greater projection, clarity, and durability than any other cymbals. These Zildjian cast cymbals are created from the Zildjian secret alloy, which is constituted of 80% copper, 20% tin, and traces of silver.
