Evans BD22REMAD resonant series highlights an offset 4" microphone port in a single ply of 10mil film. Similar to the EMAD batter a black, noise-free plastic sleeve contains a foam dampening ring almost the edge of the microphone port. Which commands overtones; enhancing sound focus and attack.

The EMAD Resonant begins with two interchangeable foam rings that enable the user to handle bass drum resonant head sound without the necessity for internal damping. Each ring reduces overtones around the edge of the 5" offset microphone port and offers varying degrees of control over attack, sustain, pitch and feel.
