EVANS B14HW is a  Heavyweight reverse dot snare drumhead 14 inch. It is originated with the heavy hitter in mind, The EVANS heavyweight reverse dot batter head is 20mil thick at the middle of the head. While thicker heads usually choke out due to excessive mass. This heavyweight reverse dot patch flexes for a broader dynamic range, extra focus and attack. Evans level 360 technology is incorporated to increase the level playing surface of the drumhead in 360 degrees around the drum. The vertically enhanced collar design guarantees even contact with the bearing edge of the drum shell, appearing in Ease of tuning, extended pitch range and excellent quality of sound. The reverse dot is mounted on the bottom of the head for extra stability, focus and attack without getting in the way of brushes.
