Boss AD-2 Acoustic Preamp pedal is used to tweak the sound to make the acoustic sound more natural and for the good tone adjustments. Boss AD-2 features an Acoustic Resonance effect that analyzes the input signal as you play the guitar and then uses its advanced processing technique to beautifully recreate your guitar’s natural tone. Twisting just one-knob control adjusts multiple parameters inside the AD-2 to achieve the perfect tonal balance for any style, from gentle fingerpicking to hard strumming. It also adds some depth with a little reverb that makes the sound much better. Boss AD-2 features an Ambience effect that you can dial in studio-quality reverb for any performing environment. The Boss AD-2 produces a lush, deep ambiance that perfectly enhances the voice of your guitar.

Boss AD-2 features two independent outputs through which you can connect the Output jack to your acoustic guitar amplifier or stage monitor, and use the Line Out to send a balanced signal direct to the PA mixer. It’s even possible to turn off the Ambience effect in the Line Out signal, giving the PA engineer the freedom to add-up reverb at the board. When you encounter any low-frequency feedback issues on stage, the Boss AD-2’s notch filter manages it all. The one-knob control tweaks many interlocked parameters under the hood, giving you access to a wide range of reverb sounds. You can just turn the Notch knob until the low-frequency feedback Vanishes.
