The Yamaha CG182C classical guitar highlights a solid cedar top, a rosewood fretboard and rosewood back and sides with a uniform shine. The CG182S classical guitar highlights a solid European spruce top. Using rosewood on the side and back with ebony fingerboard.

New bracing pattern, thinner bridge plate The new CG series emphasises a new bracing design that produces an excellent response and superb resonance. These guitars also feature a bridge plate that efficiently shifts string vibration to the guitar top. 

Stable Neck Condition

Necks use a strong 3-ply laminate design that holds warping and twisting. This design grows neck strength, allows greater durability against shape changes over time and admits lower string height. In addition to providing greater neck durability, the laminated design also makes effective use of sources.
