It comes in two unique configurations. Prime is the compact and lightweight 61-key model. Plus available is the 76-key version, giving a semi-weighted action and a motorized tilting display. Both keyboards seem great, and both designs feature naturally responsive key-on / key-off velocity responsiveness and aftertouch, and both were invented for beginners through to demanding expert keyboard players. This elegant aluminum cabinet and encouraging user interface were conceived to make a powerful visual statement by a renowned team of talented industrial designers from Europe.

The principal panel has been redesigned and optimized to assure that sliders and knobs are intuitively and ergonomically well positioned to improve any performance. An arbitrary super high-fidelity speaker/amplification bar has been specially designed to attach directly to the keyboard. Beneficial for both home use and on-stage monitoring, the PaAS uses Korg's Easy Connect system.

Based on Korg's advanced EDS (Extended Definition Synthesis) Engine, the Pa3X presents truly outstanding new sounds. Korg's DNC (Defined Nuance Control) system and the RX (Real eXperience) Technology improve an already powerful sound engine, enabling the performer to truly and expressively introduce the most exact nuances and sound articulation. Ribbon strip and Assignable switches have been attached to the joystick control; the result is deeper control and even more elegant expression.

It has a more than 1,100 sounds, including an innovative stereo grand piano (with damper realism and string resonance) and modern electric pianos from the acclaimed new wind instruments, basses, and beautiful guitars; also new digital drawbars with leakage and key on/off noises give the ideal sound foundation for any harmonic and melodic need. Also,100 drumkits, including unique Real Ambience Drumkits, furnish life to any rhythmic texture and sound truly genuine due to the Drums Family Easy Editing, which delivers total control over volume, ambiance, pitch, EQ, and more.

This vast 256 MB memory (PCM User memory) can be extended to a massive 512 MB (when calculated as 16-bit linear data), with the free EXB-M256 memory extension board, so custom sounds can simply be added. Extra first is the Self-Refresh Memory Backup battery for all company and user PCM data, creating start-up of the Pa3X much, much quicker. An exceptional re-charging system ensures the battery is constantly charged. Additionally, Up to 8 stereos, digital multi-effect processors can be employed at once. Extra 140 effect types are available, running from the standard delays and reverbs through to the more advanced effects such as vocoding, as well as the new traditional effects from the acclaimed SV-1 Stage Vintage Piano.
