And by an Enhanced SGX-2 Grand piano engine, a huge library of top-quality sounds, a Natural Touch semi-weighted action keyboard and a full suite of play and production tools, the Kronos is one for the professional and the enthusiastic amateur alike. Before looking at any of the sounds, whistles, and impressive technology on a new keyboard, the prime thing on most players’ minds does it have a great piano sound. Kronos has continuously delivered on this front, sampling some of the high-grade pianos for a range of darker and lighter tones. The improved SGX-2 Grand piano sound engine, which not only intensifies the original pianos with Sympathetic String Resonance and Una Corda tones but combines a whole new piano tone.

The Berlin Grand gives a resonant piano with excellent depth for passion-filled performances. To assist you to navigate the extensive range of powerful features, the Kronos includes an enormous eight-inch (800 x 600pixel) SVGA color Touch View Display. This display is the center that provides access to all the different features on the Kronos, however, it’s fine and easy to navigate. You can easily select a sound or pick a parameter with the touch of a finger, but with the improved touch-drag ability provides more detailed control of parameters without having to navigate through irrelevant menus and controls.

This Kronos utilizes an innovative setlist mode that organizes all of the resources you require for a song or even a full set. You can immediately call up the needed preset, combination or order whatever mode you are in. There’s a complete 9 band eq, color options to better navigate, and you can even add special notes to help you get through the set.
