JBL 708P 8 Inch Bi-Amplified Master Reference Monitor is perfectly designed to use leverages next-generation JBL driver advanced technologies to offer superior frequency response and greater dynamic range. This 2409H high-frequency compression driver includes an exceptional low-mass annular diaphragm to give a flat response beyond 36 kHz, with extremely low distortion. It features a 725G low-frequency transducer that gives 14mm peak-to-peak excursion with more comprehensive linearity, presenting excellent low-frequency output below 39 Hz. These exclusive drivers enable the 708P to provide two to three times the output of existing studio monitors.

Patented JBL Image Control Waveguide assures neutrality and accuracy while presenting a broad sweet spot with improved sonic detail. By allowing an acoustically seamless transition between the high-frequency and low-frequency transducers, the waveguide offers a specified soundstage and accurate imaging across the complete frequency spectrum. The flat, on- and off-axis frequency response lets the JBL 708P give a neutral response across a broad listening area in a wide range of rooms.

JBL 708P is equipped with a built-in double amplification system that’s developed for its high-output drivers. Plus its 250W amp is dedicated to the 725G low-frequency transducer and the 250W amp powers the 2409H high-frequency transducer. This combination gives excellent output and permits for higher listening distances, presenting them perfect for mastering environments or post-production.
