Ibanez GRG7221-BKN Electric Guitar:

The Ibanez GRG7221 BKN  is a seven string RG series stable body electric guitar model started by Ibanez in 2013. It is part of the entry-level GIO line. It is the most affordable seven string model Ibanez appears.

The GRG7221 highlights a poplar body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components hold dual Ibanez humbucking pickups and a fixed platform.

In mid-2017 a new fretboard element treated New Zealand pine, replaced rosewood. For 2018 the bridge was replaced by the F017 in the US. The GRG7221QA is a related model with a quilted art grain top.

The GIO series was produced for professionals who want Ibanez character in a more affordable package. Not only do they look and perform genuine than everything else in their price range, but their precise inspection, set-up and guarantee is the same as Ibanez's more expensive forms.
