Gibson LPSTUE1GH1 2013 Gold Series Les Paul Studio Ebony Satin Black Electric Guitar introduces with increased sonic versatility and performance upgrades to a new Les Paul Studio as part of its big 2013 Year of Les Paul celebrations. Gibson 2013 Les Paul Studio combines timeless elements and tonewoods with enhanced comfort, excellent humbucking pickups with built-in coil-splitting switching for the united versatility of single-coil tones, and the classic appearances that define it as a genuine Gibson Les Paul. A High-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, or Goldtop with dark back and neck. Or left-handed version is also available, and for an added touch of class, there’s a 2013 Les Paul Studio Gold Series, with pickup covers and gold-plated hardware, and a gloss top finishes with satin back and neck. A carved solid maple top lends bite and articulation to the sound, while a select mahogany back treated with Gibson’s new modern weight relief pattern to increase playing comfort and enhance resonance contributes superb warmth and depth.

 Gibson Les Paul Studio has a completely solid, quarter-sawn mahogany neck is glued in and carved in the fast 60s SlimTaper profile and covered with a rich Rosewood fingerboard with traditional trapezoid inlays and 22 medium-jumbo frets. While keeping with the stripped-down Studio ethos, the body and fingerboard are left unbound, but 2013 holds elegant touches in its pickguard, hot-stamped truss-rod cover, and black or gold speed knobs, depending on the finish. Gibson production ensures optimum playability, a 1 11/16 inch width across the PLEK-cut Corian nut, along with traditional specs like a 24 ¾ inch scale length, and a 12-inch fingerboard radius for easy bending, smooth. A combination of Gibson USA’s Modern Classics humbucking pickups tops the 2013 Les Paul Studio for exceptional tonal versatility. 490R in the neck position gives excellent warmth and throaty bluestones, while a hotter 498T in the bridge belts out all the scorch, sizzle and support you need. Moreover, both are wired for coil splitting, with special push-pull tone-control switching to tap genuine single-coil tones, which are also wired for hum-canceling in the middle position.
