Epiphone Les Paul Standard features Alnico Classic pickups that use a dual vacuum waxing process that assures you quiet operation and free from microphonic hum. Firstly, the pickup is placed in a dedicated wax vacuuming machine before the cover is placed on the unit to ensure that the wax entirely reaches to the core of the pickup and solidifies all components. After this, the cover is placed on and the pickup is given a second vacuum wax bath until the whole unit is completely soaked. Epiphone ENS-RCCH1 is consists of two Alnico Classic Humbuckers with Alnico-V magnets, which provide a higher output than old pickups and also have improved mids and highs. Each of the pickups has a Volume and Tone control with Amber Top Hat style knobs and an all-metal 3-way pickup selector switch. The Tuning of ENS-RCCH1 is fast and accurate due to Grover machine heads with an 18:1 tuning ratio.

ENS-RCCH1 has a Mahogany body and Maple top solid body. It highlights a 14 degree angled headstock that provides extra pressure at the nut for longer sustain and better intonation without the disturbances caused by string-tree gadgets. The LP Standard has Mahogany neck with a SlimTaper D profile, a 24.75-inch scale length, 22 medium jumbo frets, a Pau Ferro fingerboard with Trapezoid inlays, and a 12-inch fingerboard radius. The body and fingerboard have cream binding and the clipped ear headstock has the Les Paul signature in gold silk print along with the Epiphone logo in Pearloid. Epiphone ENS-RCCH1 uses quality parts for the pickups that include ABS plastic bobbins, 1010 Cold Rolled Steel pole screws and pole shoes, Alnico magnets and the finest magnet wire. Les Paul Standard ENS-RCCH1 highlights a nickel LockTone Bridge and StopBar Tailpiece combo that auto-locks the bridge and tailpiece in place with no extra tools needed. The Les Paul Standard also comes with a 1/4 inch non-rotating output jack with the cream jack plate and an improved contact shape and heavy-duty spring steel.
