Jatoba is a very dense and stiff wood that makes it ideal for fingerboard usage. The Jatoba offers strong fundamentals and volume projection with an accent on the high-mids.

Cort X100 features the same slick and quick playability of the higher-end X Series models with a hard rock Maple neck and Meranti body wood, Jatoba for fingerboard with 15.75-inch radius, 6-point tremolo system, and two high output humbucker pickups. This Meranti body has comparable tonal qualities to Mahogany with a clear mid-midrange that will cut through the mix with authorization for rhythm while giving sweet highs for singing leads. These Powersound pickups produce a classic humbucker punch and tone with a quality/value outcome that cannot be beaten. This vintage-style 6-screw tremolo bridge carries more of the strings’ vibrational power into the body of the guitar for more comprehensive acoustic resonance while giving excellent tuning stability.
