Cort A4-OPN 4 String Artisan Series Open Pore Natural Electric Bass Guitar is perfectly designed and developed for the working musician who needs outstanding performance and rock-steady reliability gig after gig. Features a neck-thru-body construction for providing you more sustain and punchy tone. Therefore, strings vibrate across the body and neck linearly and coherently, increasing the tightness of the low-end with bright mids and singing highs.

Equipped with Bartolini Mk-1 pickups producing excellent sound quality and value. This pickup offers plenty of warm and punchy mids along with clear and bright highs for an extremely balanced sound. With famous Bartolini MK-1 EQ offers a strong yet transparent boost with its trademark crunchy high-end. This pickup gives the natural liveliness of the bass through a flexible 3-band equalizer for a class of purposes ranging from studio recording to big concert halls. It further gives a switchable active/passive mode for an organic traditional passive sound or an effective modern active sound.

The body is made of mahogany wood for warm and low midrange is complemented by the high-midrange and treble of Wenge neck and 5-piece Maple for a supremely balanced and consistent sound. And Flame Maple top on the body combines a high quality upgraded look and a touch of tonal clarity.

Cort A4 also features a Hipshot Ultralite Tuners that is constructed of cast zinc with aluminum strings posts and mounting nuts, appearing in 30% weight decrease over other regular tuners and which occurs in increased balance and tuning accuracy. The Hipshot Transtone bridge top-load and string-thru-body construction promote excellent tonal range while adding punch and improving sustain, ideally complementing the longer 34-inch scale’s established string tension and dedicated sound.
