The brightness and durability of Maple are perfectly balanced with the soft midrange of PangaPanga, appearing in superb playability, tonal and feel definition. The Bartolini electronics set on the A4-Custom Z complements the natural earthy tone of its high-end tonewoods. Bartolini MK-1 EQ offers a strong yet transparent boost with its trademark crunchy high-end. This pickup gives the natural liveliness of the bass through a flexible 3-band equalizer for a class of purposes ranging from studio recording to big concert halls. It further gives a switchable active/passive mode for an organic traditional passive sound or an effective modern active sound.
