AKG exceptional microphone, first developed in the 1950s, is one of the most popular tube microphones in history, and its heir is today’s C12 VR. This C12 VR is an advanced version of the original C12, from the capsule sound to the original 6072A vacuum tube meticulously handcrafted in Vienna, Austria.

Original vintage Design shaped after the famous AKG C12, the C12VR is a renewed version of the standard tube condenser microphone emphasizing the original 6072 vacuum tube, 1950's double-diaphragm, and transformer. It also features flexible switchable polar patterns including cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-eight with varieties of particular patterns. Plus Attenuation and Boost Switching gain boost of +10 dB and -10 and -20 dB of pre-attenuation include all studio demands from vocals to instruments of types.

The C12 also features a 2-position high pass filter that excludes low-end noise and rumble giving more appearance of mid and high-end frequencies. AKG C12 also equipped with N 12VR remote power supply gives power to the microphone and features a polar pattern, attenuation/boost switches, and high pass filter.
